Laura Lee Hallada

Laura Lee Hallada is a painter from southern California who now calls northern New Jersey her home. Her passion for creating art began at an early age and led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from California State University/Fullerton in Fullerton, CA.

Last year, June to November of 2021, Laura embarked on a 100 day painting challenge, during which her Petite Flowers, Acrylic Studies, and Contour Line Watercolor collections came to be. The journey of this project helped her to embrace various styles and fall in love with painting flowers. She admires their grace, delicate petals, endless shapes and color variations, and the contrast of softness and drama that they offer. Influenced by Impressionist painters, Laura creates dramatic compositions that plays on light and shadow.
